But how does it actually work? Here's a step-by-step breakdown of the entire process, from scheduling to delivery.
Step 1: Schedule Your Pickup Online
Everything starts at sterlingcleaners.com. Click "Schedule Pickup" and enter your Los Angeles address. You'll choose a pickup window — we offer morning and afternoon slots on weekdays, with weekend availability in select areas.
You don't need to create an account to schedule your first pickup, though creating one makes future scheduling faster and lets you track your order status online.
Step 2: Bag Your Garments
Place the garments you'd like cleaned in any bag — a laundry bag, a grocery bag, or a box all work fine. You don't need to sort or tag anything. If there are specific stains or areas of concern you'd like us to know about, you can leave a note inside the bag or add instructions in the scheduling form's notes field.
There's no minimum order. Whether you have one dress shirt or a full load of suits and dress clothes, we'll pick it up.
Step 3: We Collect Your Garments
One of our drivers will arrive during your chosen pickup window and collect your bag from your door, building lobby, or doorman — whatever works for your building or home setup. You don't need to be present for the pickup; many of our clients leave their bags with a doorman or in a designated spot.
Your garments are logged into our system at pickup so you can track their status throughout the cleaning process.
Step 4: Professional Cleaning at Our Facility
